The following is a collection of works from Visual Studies, a series of courses taken over the first four semesters at Rensselaer. These courses aim to create a unified balance between technical skills and design language. Each semester focuses on demonstrating a new software or technical concept, while simultaneously stimulating a sense of design and visual understanding through different focuses.
Visual Studies presents a wide range of work, from 2D linework drawings and basic arctic renders, to overwhelming colorful render-scapes and photorealistic images. The work demonstrates an understanding of numerous programs, including Rhino, Grasshopper, the Adobe Suite, Maya, and more.
